Previously, LaMotte was EVP of Distribution at Playon Sports where he was responsible for the comprehensive distribution and business development strategy with traditional and emerging media platforms, established content partnerships with Google, Comcast, Time Warner, as well as executed multiple sports rights television deals.
Before that he served as SVP of Distribution for Universal Sports, handling all distribution and new business development. He grew the network from its inception to 65 million households, the website to 15 million uniques per month, and instituted multiple content partnerships with media companies such as ESPN, Fox, YouTube, Sprint and Sirius XM. In addition, he created an international joint venture called WCSN.AU serving the territories of Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to his joining Universal Sports, LaMotte worked at various media companies including Viacom, Fox, and Tribune where he oversaw both distribution and new business development for the networks and broadcast television stations.
